Diarnothe.com's chatrooms are multi-purpose venues. They are used to host classes, workshops, private chats and other events. They also allow Diar and Fyre to schedule office hours - scheduled times when they are available to touch base with clients immediately rather than through e-mail.

As this is not predominantly a free reading site, the chat rooms are not intended as free reading areas. While there may be times a reading is raffled off during a chat session, these readings are informal and their length is at Fyre or Diar's discretion.

These rooms also serve as one feature to help tie this site's community together. Feel free to hang out in the room and converse with each other at any time of the day.

There are only a few formal rules that you are asked to obey. Keep it clean. You never know who's reading the chat over someone else's shoulder. It would be wise to limit 'adult comments' when new members are visiting. The most appropriate place for such comments would be a chat party purchased for you and your friends.

Be civil and considerate of everyone in chat. Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. Allowances are made for those of you who may be having a bad day -- but only to a point. Please take your aggression elsewhere. Go for a walk, take a hot bath, or vent in a more appropriate manner. A set of darts and a picture of the politician of your choice is recommended.

Fyre has worked hard to restructure this site. Both she and Diar intend to continue providing help to members, even above and beyond what is required. Please respect their work. This is not the place to come to solicit members for your own readings. Remember, to always act the way you would like to be treated.

Above all, try to have fun. Enter with mirth and joy, humour and reverence, peace and understanding. We can support and encourage each other, and in so doing we may help each other grow.

Can I become become a member without registering first?

While it is technically possible to go through the membership sign up without registering first, it is not recommended. Registration is what puts you into the site's data base for update emails and activates some of the site's features for you. If all you really want are the seeker prices for readings, then registration is not an issue. Otherwise, you should register as well as sign up for seeker membership.
