Numerology has many, varied uses:
finding a good day for certain ventures, seeing
if your life/business partner is compatible with
you, choosing harmonious house numbers when looking
to move, learning about yourself and your motivations.
Numerology is yet another tool for helping us
make our way through the darkness. Like Astrology,
it provides insights and is a guiding light to
help us meander through life's maze. It can help
us make better choices. Numerology can be used
in conjunction with the Oracle to determine the
lessons needed to achieve a particular goal.
There are different schools of numerology,
the most popular being Pythagorean. It also is
the most modern. However, for more accuracy, the
old is blended with the new. Thus the charts are
based on a fusion of Ayurvedic, Pythagorean and
Chaldean numerology.
There are different components (approx.
20) where numerology can be applied. They are
primarily derived from a person’s birthdate
and birthname. The core chart usually includes
a synthesis of the various parts.

The Psychic Number – This reveals the way a person sees themselves.
It plays a very important role in the choices
we make. By understanding our motivations, we
can make changes in these choices, thereby altering
our destiny.
The Destiny or Life Path
Number – This number is more
important than the Psychic number and becomes
more powerful after thirty-five. It is related
to our past karmas; it shows what we are here
to do and accomplish.
The Soul’s Urge – This is a person’s inner
motivations. It is sometimes called the Heart’s
Desire and deals with our longings, our hopes
and dreams: who we want to be, what we want
to have, what we wish to do.
The Name or Expression – This number delves into a person’s
natural potential and abilities. The method
of calculation is Chaldean which gives the letters
a different vibration than the Pythagorean method.
This is the number that can be changed thereby
influencing the attributes of the other numbers.
The name number is powerful and, when in harmony
with the destiny number, can have a strong influence
even after death. The first letter of one’s
full name has the most impact over the rest
of the letters in the name. The name number
creates a vibration with which one can identify
throughout life.
